COD Black Ops: PS3 Patch Details Announced

“Call of Duty: Black Ops” may well have become the biggest ever entertainment launch, but it has been experiencing several problems since it was first released. However, Treyarch announced a while back that they were in fact working on multi-platform patches.

We’ve already seen the release of the PC patch for “COD: Black Ops,” and now Treyarch have revealed details of its upcoming PS3 patch for the popular title. However, according to EL_Div over at gforgames.com, there’s been no word on when the PS3 patch will be released.

Among the many other changes, the PlayStation 3 patch will fine-tune the audio levels and ranges, for bomb plants, footsteps and gunfire. The game performance will also be improved for those players with a lot of friends, by stopping them from spamming while in a game.

Matchmaking will also benefit from some improvements with the upcoming “Call of Duty: Black Ops” patch, meaning faster match finding speeds and players being more effectively matched to games with the best host selection and networking conditions.
